Current Weight: 225.7 lbs / Fortnight Weight Change -1.7 lbs / Total Weight change: -8 lbs

Very happy to report another week of steady weight loss. While I’m super pleased with the progress and it’s consistency I’m still very aware of how far I’ve got to go. As a result it’s still a constant battle to not try to cut calories further in the hope of speeding up weight loss.

The data provided in this and all other Progress Reports is collected using MyFitnessPal.com and a Fitbit Charge 2.

James Nutrition Breakdown, 1st May 2017 – 14th May 2017

My weight loss continues to be steady. That being said its pretty clear that I still have a lot of work to do to clean up my diet. As you can see from the nutrition chart there is still a sizeable portion of my calories coming from food that while isn’t necessarily “bad” it is what I’d consider off plan.

Of course while I’m seeing a steady result I’m thinking there’s no huge rush to tighten all of that up but its deinitely something worth considering as my journey continues.

James Training Program 2 – FitnessWithFlaws.com

Training / Exercise

Training this fortnight has basically been non-existent. I set myself a boring training program a couple of weeks ago and it just wasn’t enough. It was a little boring with nothing in there that I could particularly look forward to with an overly complicated warm up / mobility / core element that in hindsight was just a little weird!

Still, onward and upward. I recently read a fantastic book Fat Loss Happens On Monday and have taken the suggested program from there, made some minor changes and sprinkled in a dose of mobility for good measure. My new Fat Loss Program has everything I could want for the next 12 weeks and iIcannot wait to get started.

I’ve also found an excellent sports facility  that I can easily get to from work. The plan will be to train at lunch times where possible but when work get in the way (as it inevitably will) I will train in the morning before work.

Upcoming Focus

Training, training training!

By and large the food is going well but I’m very aware that I’m 10 weeks in and have barely done any formal exercise. There are now six training sessions scheduled between now and my 12 week update and I fully intend to make them count. As ever I’ll keep you posted with my progress and strugles as I move along.
